A handmade character awakens into a sprawling digital world.
A labor of love forged from wire, tinfoil, and Sculpey clay sits forgotten on a studio shelf, gathering dust as time passes and his creator grows older. But when the aging artist digitizes a photo of his long-dormant creation with a simple AI prompt—"give him a life"—the static sculpt is thrust into a vibrant, animated digital universe.
Now the captain of his own destiny in an arctic world, the little hero embarks on a thrilling maritime adventure. Alongside a shipwrecked companion, he raids a monster-guarded treasure cave and battles a vengeful pirate octopus on the high seas. When all hope seems lost, salvation arrives from the most unexpected source: his creator, now a character within the very world he prompted.
Blending tactile physical sculpting with advanced AI video generation, Unshelved is a heartwarming, mixed-media tribute to the enduring magic of creation and the lifelong bond between an artist and his art.
